Agomoni, established in 2023, is the first non-profit Indian organization in the Netherlands to have all women office bearers working hand in hand with their male counterparts as a foundation.
The name “Agomoni” is derived from the Bengali language and translates to “ushering.” For the group of like-minded enthusiasts involved, Agomoni serves as a means of fostering friendly camaraderie and a sense of togetherness. Through Agomoni, they aim not only to create a home away from home but also to pass down the rich cultural traditions and heritage of India to future generations who are growing up outside their motherland. Agomoni extends a warm welcome to all who wish to join their platform for exchanging views and cultural amalgamation. They celebrate togetherness and strive to foster relationships with integrity, sustainability, and trust.
Our Mission
Agomoni’s mission revolves around promoting Indian cultural legacies through socio-cultural events held throughout the year. By bridging Indian culture with Dutch and greater European societies, they create a vibrant learning environment.
